Maja Todorovic Izquierdo was born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1976. She is a landscape architect and painter. Works as an university professor at the Faculty of Arts and Design in Belgrade.
Her mother is Peruvian and father Serbian, what is one of the main motives in her work.
